About the DCSE
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers a wide range of courses in areas such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Data Science, and Cyber Security. Our Five-year Integrated Program and M.Tech. Program have been long-standing strengths. As part of USICT, we also support and offer interdisciplinary courses.
Recently, we introduced Four-year B.Tech. programs in Computer Science and Engineering, as well as specialized areas including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Data Science, and Cyber Security. Additionally, we offer M.Tech. in CSE with specializations in Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics.
We are proud to offer B.Tech. CSE specialization in association with IBM, giving students exposure to industry-driven education and real-world applications. The department has also established a Cyber Security Centre of Excellence and a Drone Centre of Excellence to foster innovation, research, and development in these rapidly evolving fields. Our Ph.D. programs are available in full-time and part-time modes for working professionals in all areas of research currently being pursued by our faculty members.

Our students and scholars delve into emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Image Processing, Cyber Security, Big Data, Deep Learning, Pattern Recognition, Decision Making, Sensor Networks, Object-Oriented Programming, Component-Oriented Programming, Aspect-Oriented Programming, and professional-level Software Engineering, among others.
